Nowadays you have a lot of options when it comes to learning how to DJ. I was asked a question about online DJ courses and decided to share some tips about this subject.
In my opinion, the best (free) source for online information is YouTube. You can find a lot of great tips and DJ tutorials and watch them anytime. This is a great way to start gathering information.
Buy a simple controller so you can practice the techniques you found on YouTube. This should allow you to make some progress.
But at the end of the day, nothing beats the feedback from an teacher/professional DJ. A video can't tell you if you're doing it right or wrong 😉
A lot of places have DJ schools and there are some online options as well (using skype). I will be offering private lessons via skype in 2016 so stay tuned for more info.
