One thing a DJ should have at all times is a business card. So today's tip is: get a business card!
We live in a time where most (young) DJ's do a lot of their communication through social media. It's their promotional tool, their networking tool and they use it to get booked and that works very well.
But what do you do when you are in the middle of playing a set in a club and someone walks up to the DJ booth and asks you for your information because they want to book you? Do you give them your twitter handle? Do you tell them your email address and hope that they type it into their phone correctly?
A business card is still the most effective and efficient way to give this potential client all the essential information they need to contact you and possibly book you.
This is not a “how to make a business card” video, but I can give you a couple of tips.
