Fahjah is an electronic music producer based out of Winnipeg, Canada as one of the city’s busiest nightclub DJ’s. His drive and passion for music keeps him in the studio creating original and creative compositions utilizing multiple genres.
Best known for his work in the progressive house and trance realm, Fahjah’s work was widely recognized with nearly one million Spotify plays on his hit track “Who I Am”, a collaboration with Denis Kenzo which appeared on both Armin Van Buuren’s ASOT 2018 compilation and year mix albums. He is also known for his remix of Sheridan Grout and Luke Anders’ hit “Bad Days”, which later appeared on the Future Favourite 2018 compilation album. Fahjah's work in the progressive & trance realm is far from over with a release yet to come in collaboration with Ben Gold & Sheridan Grout, and a release on Gareth Emery's label, Garuda. He’s also proud of his collaboration with American Idol vocalist Rhea Raj which received a quarter million plays on Spotify.
Fahjah has recently delved into a new creative direction of psyberpunk music, which is a mix of psy trance, techno and house music for a club and festival friendly take on these darker genres. Notably, his recent remix of Mo Bamba by Sheck Wes appeared at number two on Hypeddit’s psy trance charts and his original Hands In The Air featured on Laidback Luke's youtube vlog.
His work has been widely supported from a variety of talents (in addition to Armin Van Buuren & Laidback Luke) including, Tommie Sunshine, Morgan Page, Andrew Rayel, Breathe California, Disco Fries and many more. With new releases lined up every two weeks throughout 2019, Fahjah’s new sounds can be heard on such labels as Brooklyn Fire, Diverge Records and Liftoff Recordings. Fahjah strives to continue making new and original music and aspires to break new grounds in the electronic music scene
